“Even the N.B.A had a 5’7” tall player, so everything is possible”

Dan Brama – “I’ve been playing basketball since I was 6. I am about to graduate the fifth grade and I am spending my summer vacation in Hapoel Jerusalem’s basketball training camp. We just play basketball all day long and I never get tired of it. Basketball is the thing I like to do the most in life. Next month, when the second training camp will be over, I will participate in a course for school crossing guard officers.

“I think I manage to combine school and basketball. I have 3 training sessions a week and I try to do my homework before the practices, though sometimes I do it afterwards.

“I love basketball thanks to my father. When I was in kindergarten I found out that he goes to the professional Hapoel games every week, never missing a match. In first grade I began to go with him, and really loved it, so I also joined Hapoel’s basketball school for kids my age.

“I know that I probably won’t be very tall, but that is not going to stop me. Even the N.B.A had a 5’7” tall player, so everything is possible. When I grow up, I want to be a professional basketball player!”
