A woman at the forefront!

As the first woman to serve in her role, Ambassador Lador-Fresher faces interesting challenges at her job as the Israeli Ambassador to Austria. Some of these challenges include working on the relationship between the Orthodox Jewish community and the Conservative members of the OSCE: Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

After serving her country in various locations ranging from London to New York, Jerusalem, and Jamaica, Ambassador Lador-Fresher feels honored by the opportunity to represent Israel in Austria, a country with a long and noble Jewish history clouded by World War II and the Holocaust. Currently representing Israel in a European capital has its own set of challenges and pre-judgements, but also brings exciting opportunities.

Ambassador Lador-Fresher previously held another impressive position as the Chief of Protocol, where she had a chance to host many world leaders, among them former US President Barack Obama.

In the city where Theodor Herzl wrote his vision that later became a reality in the book “The Jewish State,” Ambassador Lador-Fresher represents the modern State of Israel with both grace and strength.
