“Riding on my back is a super successful business”
Amit – I live and work in one of the most beautiful spots on earth – Genesis Land. It is situated in the heart of the Judean Desert on the way to the Dead Sea, in the land where the Patriarchs lived.
My job here is to take tourists and various visitors on my back, and to show them around so they can feel and experience life as it was in Biblical times.
Every visitor here is welcomed by Eliezer, Abraham’s manservant, and by my extended family and myself. We lead them to Abraham’s tent where they enjoy his unforgettable and legendary hospitality.
I guess that thousands upon thousands of people, from all over the world, have been on my back. I really don’t get what the fuss is all about – sitting on my back isn’t comfortable and can even be quite scary. Still – riding on my back is a super successful business.
However, I am the less successful part of the family. My brother, who had enough carrying anxious and yelling tourists on his back, reinvented himself a new career. You all know him. He is no other than the leading camel model of the famous cigarette company. To tell you the truth, I am seriously considering following his lead.
